“You must get a diagnosis if your urinary stream weakens”

The Korean Community Service Center, along with the Korean American Doctors Association, held their second “Happy Health Seminar” on the 12th.

The first class in the seminar, which was held at the KCSC in Annandale, opened up with “Prostate Health,” taught by urologist Dr. Jong-Woo Choi. He gave a basic explanation of the prostate’s functions, as well as how to detect and treat the symptoms of prostate macrorhinia.

For the second class, heart specialist Dr. Ki-Hyung Joo spoke on the topic of “Protecting Heart Health.” He taught attendees of the class about the relationship between high blood pressure and cardiovascular disease, as well how to properly describe your symptoms to your doctor in case of an emergency.

The seminar has no attendance fee, but class capacity is at 40 people and those interested should call in advance.
