Here at KCSC, we greatly appreciate any and all time that you dedicate to support those of our community members in greatest need. There are many volunteer opportunities available at KCSC and we very much value each and every volunteer who is able to lend a helping hand.
For example, we rely on dedicated volunteers to provide assistance to KCSC as front desk receptionists. These volunteers provide an invaluable service, greeting the clients in the waiting room, answering incoming phone calls, and managing some light paperwork. Some of our volunteers serve in KCSC’s Blue Bird home visitation program, which links caring volunteer companions with homebound and isolated senior citizens. KCSC also works with youth volunteers who make weekly visits to seniors living at a local assisted living home. KCSC is also currently recruiting volunteers to serve as bilingual tax preparers and interpreter/translators for the AARP Foundation Tax-Aide program. KCSC need volunteers with expertise and skills in a wide range of areas, such as: computer specialists, health care providers, event planners, editors, and continuing education and exercise instructors.
