Korean Community Service Center of Greater Washington is seeking sincere, enthusiastic, and qualified individuals to join the KCSC team. All applicants should be Korean/English bilingual or Chinese/English bilingual (depending on the requirements of the position) and have a good understanding of the role and work of US non-profit charitable organizations.

1. Development Intern | Unpaid
Send the following to Kate Hilton-Hayward, khayward@kcscgw.org, via email (no calls): Cover letter (stating your interests and qualifications), 1-page writing sample, resume or C.V., two references (names and contact info only).
- Work with the development team to create innovative and effective funding/marketing strategies, especially using social media and other online tools.
- Assist with the development and management of the donor database.
- Research funding prospects, identify potential funding opportunities, and help to secure new funding for the agency’s programs.
Qualifications:
- Fluency in English (written and verbal) is essential.
- Excellent research, writing, and editing skills with an attentive and independent work style.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Word and Excel.
- Interest in the field of philanthropy, fundraising, marketing, and nonprofit management. Additionally, interest in social services, health and mental health services, or immigration is a plus.
