Korean Community Service Center of Greater Washington (KCSC) is seeking a dedicated and community-driven Health Program Coordinator to support the implementation of our 12-week Family Healthy Weight Program under Project REACH (Racial and Ethnic Approaches to Community Health).
This role is ideal for someone passionate about public health, family engagement, and hands-on community outreach. The Coordinator will work directly with youth, parents, community partners, and health instructors to address health disparities and encourage healthy lifestyle practices.
Key responsibilities include:
- Recruiting children/youth and maintaining active engagement with participating families
- Coordinating weekly session logistics, materials, and community partner sites
- Managing volunteers, fitness trainers, and nutrition instructors
- Designing outreach materials and leading community health events or wellness demonstrations
- Tracking program metrics and reporting outcomes to ensure program effectiveness
We are looking for a highly organized communicator with a background in public health or social services who thrives in community engagement. Knowledge of health equity and ability to lead physical activities are strong pluses. Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean is required.

NextGen Program Coordinator - VA (Part-Time)
Empower young adults through career readiness and relationship education.
Korean Community Service Center of Greater Washington (KCSC) is seeking a motivated and community-driven NextGen Job / Premarital Program Coordinator to support Asian American young adults across Northern Virginia.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about workforce development, youth mentorship, and cultural engagement. The Coordinator will focus on reaching Korean second-generation community members—providing hands-on job counseling, resume support, and career guidance, as well as coordinating and facilitating premarital relationship education workshops.
Key responsibilities include:
- Recruiting and supporting Korean American young adults in the NextGen program
- Delivering job readiness services, including career counseling, resume building, and interview prep
- Coordinating premarital relationship education workshops and mentoring
- Conducting targeted outreach to build strong networks with schools, local employers, and community groups
- Tracking participant progress, maintaining accurate records, and supporting program evaluation
We are looking for an engaging communicator with experience in community outreach, youth development, or workshop coordination. Deep familiarity with the second-generation Asian American community is key. Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean is preferred.
