KCSC’s English as a Second Language classes offer students basic study of English grammar, diction, reading and writing. Focus is on learning practical English language skills to help with day-to-day needs such as going to the post office or making reservations for doctors’ appointments. Beginner level classes are offered, conducted by the Northern Virginia Literacy Council.

During spring and summer breaks, KCSC and Einstein Academy coordinate trips to five or six state colleges on the East Coast.
