KCSC’s Senior Academy is a continuing education program for senior citizens. The program offers a variety of subjects to help seniors improve their proficiency in English and learn more about American culture. Classes include: English as a Second Language, United States History and Civics, and Citizenship Interview Preparation. Art, music, physical fitness, line dancing, community services, and field trips are also offered to provide healthy and active extracurricular activities. A healthy Korean lunch and/or snack may be provided. Seniors will be able to expand their social circle and engage in active hobbies in order to have a healthy mind and body and be free of depression and loneliness. The program schedule at the Virginia Campus is Mondays and Thursdays 10am to 2pm and at the Centreville Campus on Wednesdays from 10am to 2pm. First day of class for each semester is announced through newspapers and radio.
