Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure

PHOTO GALLERYJune 24, 2016Jon Kang

Funded by Susan G. Komen and supported by George Washington University’s Cancer Center, the KCSC’s Breast Cancer Campaign for Asian Americans provides free mammograms and clinical breast exams for Asian American women. Since 2009, more than 900 women have received education, prevention, and treatment services. Each year in May, Susan G. Komen holds a ‘Race for the Cure” event in Washington D.C. Participants can run or walk 5k to raise funds and awareness about breast cancer. KCSC’s team, which includes staff members, clients and supporters, has been participating in this event annually.
